The Brown Family

events

Details

The Brown family originated in Scotland, Ireland and England as their main heritige. Landing in America they settled in Maryland, Virginia and the Carolinas. The Browns then moved south into Georgia then spreading to Alabama. After the Civil War Joseph's line moved to Arkansas because of an elopement, (an unusual one) then to Oregon in the 1920's.

Prior to the Second World War migrated to California, partly because of war work. So quite a journey, followed by many more people, from the East to the West.
